Some people are scared of Reiki

Some people are scared of Reiki.

Some people are scared of Reiki

Not because they’ve experienced it,
but because of what they’ve been taught it means.

And that fear is real,
even if the interpretation isn’t.

Let’s clear something up.

Reiki is not worship.
It is not summoning.
It is not calling on external entities.

It is the practice of creating a calm, intentional space
where the body can shift out of stress
and into repair.

That’s it.

But when someone has only been shown
one framework for what healing should look like,
anything outside of it
can feel confronting.

So the mind tries to make sense of it.

Labels get applied.

‘Wrong.’
‘Dangerous.’
‘Demonic.’

Not from direct experience,
but from inherited meaning.

Here’s the truth,

The human body already knows how to heal.
It does it every single day.

Reiki doesn’t override that.
It supports it.

You could think of it like this,

Some people pray.
Some people place hands and hold presence.
Some people create stillness so the nervous system can reset.

Different language.
Similar intention.

But not everything is for everyone.

If something doesn’t align with your beliefs,
you don’t have to engage with it.

Just understand,
fear isn’t always a signal of danger.

Sometimes it’s a signal
that you’re looking at something
outside of your current framework.
